Clients are often surprised that The Conference Publishers gets so much done with only a half-dozen permanent staff. But we learned long ago that the centre of a project is the community where a conference takes place, not the city where our head office is located. If we need two, four, or two dozen writers onsite, we try to hire them locally rather than flying them from Ottawa.
Our core team of editors, project managers, and account managers gives us the structure and skills to manage complex logistics and meet nearly impossible deadlines, after fact-checking draft text and imposing a consistent editorial style. Our freelancers are located across North America and in a dozen or more countries. They have expertise in every imaginable subject.
